How to book a Practitioner Development UK eLearning course

2 Buy Use our secure online payment system to purchase the course via the Buy button.

3 Study You’ll have 60 days from the date of purchase to complete the course.

4 Claim your certificate After successfully completing the course, you’ll be issued with a certificate that you can download, print out and add to your portfolio. We recommend that you also save your certificate as a pdf file to your computer. PDUK eLearning courses can contribute to your annual CPD requirements.

eLearning: the small print
If you don’t gain the correct number of answers to receive certification, you can repeat that section of the course until you succeed, as follows:
An hour-long course requires a minimum of eight/10 correct multi-choice answers.
A 90-120-minute course requires a minimum of 12/15 correct multi-choice answers.

A 120-180 minute course requires a minimum of 16/20 correct multi-choice answers.

The First Steps in Recognising the Acutely Ill Child – FREE COURSE

This FREE course looks at the initial core skills needed for assessing severity of illness in the sick child. It covers common symptoms to look out for and diagnostic examination methods. It is a guide upon which further practitioner skills and confidence can be developed. Included are interactive activities and games to aid learning, along with images and glossary. To receive your certificate you MUST CORRECTLY ANSWER 4 OUT OF 5 QUESTIONS in the final examination. The exam will reappear until a passing grade is achieved.

Dementia – Understanding and Dealing with Challenging Behaviour- FREE COURSE

This course covers the most common forms of challenging behaviour seen in patients with dementia and provides practitioners with the fundamental tools to understand why this behaviour occurs and how they can attempt to prevent and manage it. Real-life case studies are also provided to help you put what you have learnt into practice. An Introduction to Paediatric Minor Injuries

This introductory course looks at the assessment and management of some of the most common paediatric minor injuries seen in urgent care, minor injury units and emergency departments. This course is designed as a brief overview of minor injuries that are commonly presented in children.
